Kate is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Housing and the Royal Society of Arts, Manufacturing and Commerce. She was a COO, Managing Director and Executive in large housing associations and private sector developers for 15 years. She is currently CEO of a specialist social policy, strategy, innovation and change consultancy.
Kate was a board advisor to the Homes and Communities Agency, specialising in the role of intersectional economic inequality in housing policy, for 4 years. She is also an Executive Coach, with an international portfolio of clients across Europe and the USA.
Before joining the Housing Sector, she was the National Social Enterprise Advisor for the 9 Regional Economic Development Agencies– providing the lead role into the Cabinet Office and the Minister for the Third Sector.
She is an Alumni of Oxford University Business School and The London School of Economics – where she gained a research MSc in Urban and Regional Planning focusing on the role of social housing on mental health and educational outcomes.
Kate grew up in Hemel Hempstead and has 25 years lived experience as a social housing tenant and 8 as a leaseholder. She currently lives in Oxfordshire.
