Thrive Homes set to deliver up to 60 new homes with key Growth Arc acquisition

Professional landlord, Thrive Homes has completed a land acquisition for a site in Winslow, Buckinghamshire, with the development potential for up to 60 new, quality affordable homes.

On the Buckinghamshire site, Thrive Homes will bring forward proposals for a mix of one- and two-bedroom apartments as well as two, three and four-bedroom houses. The development will provide a mixture of affordable homes for local people who would otherwise struggle to secure their own home in Winslow.

The site is located adjacent to the proposed East-West rail station in Winslow, which will link Oxford, Cambridge and Milton Keynes and be a key driver in the success of the Oxford-Cambridge Growth Arc. The Growth Arc currently supports over 2 million jobs with a potential to create 1.1 million new jobs by 2050, with a need for housing across all tenures. Operating exclusively across the Home Counties, Thrive’s regional expertise will see them well placed to help deliver affordable, quality homes.

Jack Burnham, Development Director, Thrive Homes commented: “I am thrilled to present our plans for this site in Winslow. The proposed development allows us to expand our portfolio within the Growth Arc, whilst delivering quality affordable homes that meet a range of customers’ needs and keep us on track to achieve our ambitious goal of growing our housing stock from 5,000 to 10,000 homes over the next 10 years.”
