Our mission for warmer and more efficient homes

As the weather improves, we are still working hard insulating our homes ahead of the next winter season. Last year we were able to insulate 250 homes and hundreds of customers read our advice on how to heat their home whilst keeping energy costs down.

We are determined to help even more customers this year. That's why we are asking for your assistance.

If we confirm that your home needs insulating, our contractors will be in touch to make arrangements with you as soon as possible. All we ask is that you ensure your loft space is clear of belongings so our contractors can carry out their work.

What else can you do to prepare for next winter?

Summer provides us all with an excellent opportunity to prepare for next winter and keep costs down. Here are some simple tips that can really make a big difference:

If you have a pre-payment meter

Keep topping it up during the summer months to build some credit for the cold weather.

Since you won't need your heating as much during summer

Turn your boiler down to 60 degrees Celsius to save energy. You can find out how to do this by clicking here.

Ditch the tumble dryer and dry your clothes outside whenever possible

Top tip, if the ground is not wet, your clothes will dry outside even on colder days - especially if there’s a breeze!
