Thrive Homes breaks ground on 42 new affordable homes in Croxley Green 

Part-funded by a grant from Homes England, the development will provide 42 one and two-bedroom homes for social and affordable rent for 131 people.   

Thrive’s largest regeneration project to date is underway to replace a block of 27 outdated bedsit flats, with by an infill development of 42 modern, much needed affordable and accessible homes. The project includes parking, landscaping and the upgrade of an existing estate communal boiler, with a high efficiency ‘A’ grade condensing boiler, improving energy efficiency for residents in the neighbouring area.   

The potential of this site has been unlocked with a high-quality modern design that respects the character of the area and caters for a range of housing needs. Experienced residential developer, Howarth Homes has been appointed to manage construction with an anticipated completion date of Spring 2026.

Once completed, all 42 homes will be available for social and affordable rent to applicants through Thrive Rivers District Council’s Housing Register.
