Milton Keynes-based Grand Union Housing Group and Hemel Hempstead-based Thrive Homes have teamed up so that colleagues from both organisations can benefit from the support of trained mental health champions.

Thrive Homes and leading global real assets investment manager, CBRE Investment Management on behalf of their UK Affordable Housing Fund (UK AHF) have completed on their first transaction together.

The Group will help shape the sector’s response to the new system of building regulations proposed by government and support housing associations towards a smooth transition into a new regulatory environment, whilst ensuring the voice of residents is heard

To celebrate the milestone, Thrive Homes welcomed the Elected Mayor of Watford, Peter Taylor and wife of the late ex-England manager, and Watford Football Club legend, Graham Taylor, Rita Taylor for a tour of the 5,000th home at its St Albans Road development in Watford.

Moving home is often a special moment for many, so we want to mark this occasion with a warm welcome from all at Thrive. This is why we have been running a creative competition to design the front cover of a welcome card for new customers when they move into a Thrive home.

We have recently written to customers about their internal and external communal areas and the need to keep these clear of personal items.

On 17 November 2021, the Regulator for Social Housing confirmed that Thrive Homes has retained a G1/V1 rating for the third year running

It’s been a year since we launched the myThrive hub, and what a year it has been! Today over 40% of customers are managing their Thrive account online at a time that suits them, and over 60% of customer contact is now digital.

Thrive’s first land-led development, has been shortlisted as ‘Best shared ownership development (rural and suburban)’ at the 2021 Inside Housing Development Awards.
